TYPICAL STUB UP INSTALLATION METHOD

  1. Two StayPuts are generally used. The lower one is located below or in the concrete and the second one is located higher up to maintain the proper spacing upon box installation.
  2. Additional StayPuts may be necessary on tall (high) or wide, multi-gang installations.
  3. The smaller hole accommodates ½” EMT or 5/8” Rebar for staking the stub ups.
  4. FRANKS StayPuts work with any standard ¾” diameter rigid steel, aluminum, PVC or flexible PVC electrical conduit.

Careful with your pipe work in concrete? Time consuming. Fast and careless with that pipe? Even more time consuming when you bring out the jackhammer. FRANKS StayPuts are fast and easy to use. Just slip them on as you go or use the retro models to add a few later. 3/4" FRANKS are spaced for 4" x 4" boxes.
